Google Earth

This is the North section, each color corresponds to a block captain, whose house is marked with the icon with the diamond. Please report any errors in the numbers. I also have this in a filefor Google Earth, wich is more interactive and was able to add more info like phone numbers. If interested, I will email it to you.

  1. That's clever.

My block includes the houses on the left as well. All the was down to the stop sign were Chestnut meets Stirrup. I also have 157 (the blue boat).

  2. Forgot to sign in to post that.

Does that mean anybody can post without being signed in?

  3. Yes, for now though, since it is a work in progress and wanted everybody to take a look at it first. I can disable annonymous posting.

  6. Yes, I added you to a list to send you emails. THe alerts work great for me! I also have yahoo toolbar and it alerts me for posts & comments, and also in my personal page for yahoo added automatically a new section with all these posts! I am starting to like this.

  7. My icon (the blue box with the + does not show up on my tool bar when I am in my email accoutn. However, when I'm in this Blog it is there. But even then, it doesn't give me a counter. Did I set it up wrong?

Sorry, I like Yahoo Groups better. And we could even post copies of the newsletters, forms, and other stuff in a Yahoo Group.

    Think about it.

  8. Maybe it's me. User error rather than computer error. I'm not getting a counter on my mail icon now either.

  9. Yahoo groups drives me bananas. I'm in three of them and even reducing the notices to digests is too much activity for me. I'm drowning in email as it is.

  10. But with Digest form I am able to keep up with who has posted or responded to a previous post. With this I don't see where/how to keep track of what posts and comments I have already read. Additional comments can easily get missed since I cannot in my head keep up with how many comments were on a post when I last visited.

However, somehow Christian was able to change something for me so that each and every post and comment now comes directly to my Yahoo inbox. But that is just that, each and every one is a seperate message rather than a Digest.

I already knew about drowning in email before that even happened : )

  11. At the end of all comments you will see a box to enter another comment. Right under it you will see the word "Subscribe". That will notify you of any new entry via email.
Also on you IE bar, if you have version 7 or higher, right next to the "Home" icon there's an orange box called "Feeds", there you can see any new posts or comments everytime you enter the blog (an asterix appears) or, if you subscribe, you can see the feeds by pressing the "Star" icon, and then feeds. I have 2 feeds there for this website, one for posts and one for comments, automatically checking for updates every 15 minutes.

  12. The left/west side of Chestnut from 230 to 294 is mistakenly labeled as Apache.

  13. That is Google Earth's mistake, they have to change it.
