Two guys walking door to door?

On Thursday night, 2 young guys between the ages of 18 and 22 rang my bell and asked for money for their soccer team's trip to Holland. They said that it was on the paper and they are lo cater on Cedar Rd, close to here. We didn't give any money and immediately went online to look for Cedar Rd... nothing even close with that name is around here.... Have any of you had these 2 guys knocking on your door? Do you know if this is legitimate or are they surveying the area and choosing which houses to rob?

what happened with the yard sale?

We didn't see any other sales going on in the development, so we wondered if everyone opted not to do it after all? We did pretty well actually, but most of the folks who came said they just saw it in passing. I thought it was going to be in 2 papers? To be honest though, I never checked to see.

selling DEFENDER arcade game at comm yard sale

For anyone interested,

I will be putting my original Williams DEFENDER arcade game out at the yard sale on Saturday (that is, if it doesn't sell before then).

The game works great, I'm only selling it because I have some others and no longer need this one. I am asking $600 obo for it. If anyone is interested please contact me at jmbiii@yahoo.com to check it out or get more information.

I have owned it since January 2008. It was not working when I brought it home, and I repaired it. It's been fine ever since. Feel free to pass on to anyone you know who might be interested.
