I feel reflective vests are a must for all walkers. I will go to Walmart tomorrow morning to pick up a few. We can have the vests and the walkie talkies handed off from one pair of walkers to the next as a way to have contact with each person starting out and finishing up a shift.
Just another safety measure.

Excellent! I also think loud whistles and a flash camera are important. If in trouble blow the whistle and if you are in your home and hear it, please call the police and see if you can assist somehow.
